JD Miller Artist will be at Hampton Classic

Artist JD Miller (founder of the Reflectionist School) will be seen at the Hampton Classic Horse Show. Miller will be available throughout the Hampton Classic and will meet with the public at the Samuel Lynne Galleries boutique each day at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. He will also conduct a live demonstration of his 3-Dimensional oil painting technique on Saturday afternoon, August 31, in the Lugano Diamonds VIP Lounge in the Classic’s Grand Prix Tent.

Hampton Classic:

August 25-September 1, Bridgehampton, NY, is in its 38th year of world-class equestrian competition, shopping and entertainment. The schedule includes open jumper classes featuring Olympic medalists and other Grand Prix veterans, plus jumper, hunter, and equitation classes, as well as competitions for riders with disabilities, highlighted by the $250,000 FTI Consulting Grand Prix on Sunday, September 1.

JD Miller (View His Complete Bio Here):

Miller founded the Reflectionist School in 2004. The early basis for his visual style was formed by emulating the vivid colors and deft lines of the cartoon masters Walt Disney and Walter Lantz. He creates everything from expressionistic landscapes to abstract reflections of the human spirit. At the Hampton Classic, he will unveil several paintings of the Hamptons and with Hampton Classic Horse Show themes.

The Reflectionist School, a group of artists whose work mirrors the positive power of life and the Universe, attempts to express and physically manifest otherwise abstract or intangible forces which Miller refers to as the “three dimensional envelope of life.” Miller’s production of organic forms and natural tendency toward the capturing of light is the hallmark of this sculptural oil technique.
