There is no doubt that Lake Placid is one of the more beautiful places in the Northeastern United States. People come here from all over the world, yet there is a void in marketing and promoting this beautiful village and the surrounding area — from the tall peakes of Keene Valley to the rustic waterways of Sara-nac Lake. Therefore, the publishers of Fine Art Magazine, launch Lake Placid Magazine.

The first issue, scheduled for August 2013 will coincide with the revival of the Lake Placid Film Festival and the wealth of summer activities in the region. Primary circulation regions include Montreal, where 10,000 will be distributed of the initial issue.

• Our primary goal is to increase the cross traffic between Montreal and Lake Placid by working with
hotels, restaurants, upscale shops, art galleries, museums and cultural institutions of both regions to promote
Lake Placid in Montreal and Montreal in Lake Placid.

* In addition, this will be a national magazine distributed by Ingram Periodicals throughout the United
States and Canada at bookstores and newsstands.

CONTENT: Focus will be on the positive aspects and elements of both regions and will be focous on activities suitable for families, couples, groups and individuals. This will include where to stay, where to eat, where to play. Recreational activities, cultural activities — music, art, sports, hiking, boating — from the obvi-ous to obscure. Our award-winning staff of writers, photographers, designers and printers will make sure that Lake Placid and Montreal are covered and promoted as they have never been before.
